Hello! I’m Kirstie

When I was a junior in high school, I began to struggle with severe anxiety and panic attacks. Even with a great support system, trying to “take a deep breath” when panicking was just not cutting it. I needed to go deeper than that. It wasn’t until I found a counselor that allowed me to feel comfortable sharing my insecurities and fears, that I learned to take control of my worries. I instantly felt more at ease when I knew I was going to see my counselor. That is when I realized: I want to be that sense of warmth and guidance for others.

 
 
 

My Approach

I understand that we all go through our own unique stories of both happiness and pain and I would be honored to work by your side as you find healing in your life. I provide a safe, genuine, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel free to explore your true self. When we first begin sessions, I will spend time getting to know you, what you have been through, and what you are struggling with so that I can best support you.
